“THAT MAN IS YOU”: 2017 Fall Semester beginning date is SEPTEMBER 7th

Thursday mornings 6:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. for 13 weeks  (early-bird coffee and pastry from 6 a.m. to 6:15 a.m.)

This study tackles real issues facing real men. It looks at the leadership role that has been entrusted to men and addresses the temptations and struggles men face in a culture that attacks authentic manhood. Finally, it helps formulate a plan that allows men to overcome these obstacles.

The program will be held on Thursdays for 13 weeks. Early-birds will gather at 6 a.m. for a continental breakfast. At 6:15 there’ll be a presentation that combines the best of scientific research with the teachings of the Church and wisdom of the saints. That’ll be followed by breakout groups providing the opportunity to discuss what’s been presented. Each gathering concludes by 7:15 a.m. allowing time to get to work or 7:30 Mass.

Of course the best way to judge a program is by its success. Men who’ve attended this program and have been Catholic their whole lives say that this is the program they’ve been waiting for. They consider it a “home run”, saying it’s hard to imagine how the program content could be any better. Priests say it literally transforms men and saves marriages. It’s that powerful. From a single test parish in Houston, TX the “THAT MAN IS YOU!” program has spread throughout the US and Canada. 20,000 men in hundreds of parishes are expected to be participating.

Registration cards are available on the table near the main entrance to the church. If you’re unable to find one there, please call Deacon Les at 561-746-7974 ext. 234 or email  Take advantage of this opportunity for yourselves and your families. It clearly has the potential to bless our lives and the lives of those we hold most dear.

(suitable for teens and above)

Wednesdays, beginning November 29th from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

How are we preparing our hearts for the greatest gift we’ve ever been given? Through an exploration of the mystery of the Incarnation, the Virgin Birth, and the events surrounding the arrival of Jesus, this Advent study offers an opportunity to experience the joy, wonder, holiness, and beauty, which go beyond mere sentimentality.

This study begins the Church year by exploring the Gospel Nativity narratives which serve as vivid examples of how to prepare our hearts so that “watching” for Jesus is an active reality of Christian discipleship. This series includes video presentations by prominent contemporary theologians Dr. Ted Sri and Dr. Tim Gray.

In 4 segments, “Prepare the Way”, “Trust in God”, “Watch and Pray”, and “The Gift”, this study looks at the biblical account and gives a proper context for a truly meaningful celebration of joy in our lives today! This study is suitable for teens and older.  Study participants will gather for 4 Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning November 29th.
